About Editor / Publisher Holly Michael

Holly (Stebbins) Michael grew up reading The Germantown Press and contributed articles to The Press and the Germantown-Farmersville Gazette in high school and college. Michael has a degree in journalism from the renowned E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and an MBA from the University of Dayton. A lifelong Jackson Township resident, Michael has built an award-winning career in greater Dayton, with experience in corporate communications at Dayton’s largest companies, including NCR, LexisNexis and Premier Health.

I am inspired by the level of journalism this town enjoyed under the editorial direction of leaders like Dolores ‘DL’ Grunwald and Maude ‘Boo’ Izor. I hope to prove this publication worthy of the level of dedication and journalistic integrity they brought to our community.

Holly Michael, Twin Creek Times Editor / Publisher

As the long-time editor of The Germantown Press, DL Grunwald included a quote from a poem by George L. Banks in the paper every week. This sentiment will serve as the guiding principle for this new publication.

For the cause that lacks assistance; for the wrongs that need resistance; for the future in the distance, and the good that we can do.

George Linneaus Banks
