The student team includes Sophomore Riley Johnson from Cincinnati. “I am excited for this semester to gain more experience in the PR world and to learn how to work with clients. I am super excited to work with Twin Creek Times,” she said.
Senior Jayda Johnson from Dayton sees the project as a way to build real world, professional experience. “Working with the Twin Creek Times will allow me to apply what I've learned to jobs after leaving the University of Dayton,” she said.
“I am eager to see the business grow,” said senior Ashley Afnan of Cleveland.
Students will spend the semester learning about the newly launched Twin Creek Times and using data points like subscriber growth, advertising results and article reach to recommend a communication strategy for expanding and improving the publication.
