The former hardware store on Center Street in Farmersville has new life as an events center and a golf simulator called The Mulligan Club.

Owners Molly and Clay Moore purchased the building in 2025 and have been hosting events since November.

Owner Molly Moore said, “We had been looking for a place to create an events venue and we think this will be a great option for local people looking for a party space.”

On December 11, the Village of Farmersville officially held a ribbon-cutting with Administrator Derek Shell, Mayor Nick Lamb, and Council Members Todd Cunningham and Kim Hadley.

The Moore’s also did an official ribbon-cutting for the main part of the former hardware store, which is known as Center Street Events. The facility, which can host parties, showers, graduations and other gatherings features the original hardwood floors of the store.

The event center offers round or rectangle tables and chairs and includes a kitchenette. The Mulligan Club and the Center Street Event space can be connected for larger events.
