The 46th Germantown Pretzel Festival saw outstanding fall weather and huge crowds enjoying food, entertainment and pretzels. The Festival crowned its new queen after the opening ceremony on Saturday.

Candidates for Pretzel Festival royalty were judged September 17 by an independent group of judges, with interviews, clothing look and community contributions playing a part in the selection.

The three young ladies and their court were crowned at the event by outgoing queen Cheyenne Bird. The 2026 queen is Olivia Hines, the duchess is Carleigh Crickmore and the newly crowned princess is Quinn Kloth.

The princess, duchess and queen will represent Germantown at events and festivals across Ohio this coming year.

The Pretzel Festival included 140 food, craft and business booths. Organizer Susan Miller said that the crowds continue to amaze their team. “Just when we think we have a record-breaking crowd, we see even more people the next year,” she said.

Germantown Mayor Terry Johnson shared a statement on the Festival, “Thank you to everyone that attended the World Famous Pretzel Festival this weekend in Germantown, Ohio! Thank you to Susan Miller and the Pretzel Festival Committee for a fabulous festival! Thank you to ALL that provided support in the set up, clean up, and services provided.”

“Thank you to Ryan Roth and the Comeback Special Band for a fantastic performance!,” the Mayor said. “Thank ya, thank ya very much for a fun evening! And bless you for your support given to our town and small-town local businesses!”
