VV BASE opened its season with a parade Saturday morning. Teams were represented on floats, trailers and even a fire truck.

Following the parade, teams met at Kercher Park for the National Anthem and the 2026 first pitch.

According to its website, “The Valley View Baseball and Softball Enthusiast (VVBASE) association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment of the children of Germantown and Farmersville through baseball and softball. We accept all boys ages 4-15 and girls ages 4-15.”
