Farmersville and Germantown celebrated America’s 250th birthday with enthusiasm and community spirit. Residents of all ages came together to celebrate our nation’s founding and the people who make our community a great place to live. 🇺🇸

Germantown 4th of July Parade

Germantown’s annual 4th of July parade was huge and featured festive displays, along with a few water fights.

The Historical Society of Germantown served as parade marshals with a float honoring our nation’s history by portraying a tableau of the Second Continental Congress, which authorized the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

Photographer Bob Woods, who is retiring as Valley View’s official sports and event photographer, also served as a parade marshal.
