The City of Germantown recognized the Dupps Company for its 90th anniversary during its March City Council meeting. Dupps president Frank Dupps was on hand to accept the award.
Mayor Terry Johnson presented Dupps with a certificate acknowledging the company’s 90 years in Germantown, saying, “We appreciate the Dupps company, its past and present employees and the five generations of the Dupps family who have led the company through 90 years of excellence.”
“Your business has grown to have international influence and scope, and we are honored to be its home base,” Johnson said. “Even as it has grown, the Dupps Company has never wavered from being a supporter of Germantown, quietly assisting with projects and initiatives to make our small town a beautiful community. We thank you for this commitment and wish you continued success for years and generations.”
Frank Dupps accepted the honor with appreciation for the City’s support. “I can tell you that we wouldn't have made it had it not been for the city and the city council and all of the wonderful citizens of Germantown, Ohio. So I will say, on behalf of the Dupps Company, my family and our employees, thank you very much for all of you that you've done throughout the years. We we really love our rich history here in Germantown, but we also look forward to a very bright future for the next 90 years, hopefully here in the same town with all of you.”
