The Germantown Historical Society is hosting two events in early August that showcase Germantown’s rich history and offer opportunities for the community to gather.

On August 1, the Society is hosting a Bourbon Tasting fundraiser at The First National Bank of Germantown. Tickets are $100 each and you must be 21. For tickets or more information, please contact Lisa Kasperski at 937.432.8044.

The Historical Society is following up with its annual Founders Day event on Sunday, August 2, 12-6 pm at Veterans Park. The event will include music, food and family-friendly activities.

Children and families are welcome at the museum Tuesdays, July 21 and August 4, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for children’s activities on the front steps and lawn (weather permitting).

Activities will include old-fashioned games, songs, learning about Germantown's past, coloring pages, and more.
