During his time as a volunteer firefighter, Erisman delivered propane for Foreman’s Hardware and was head of maintenance for Valley View Schools in Farmersville.

In high school, Erisman participated in the marching band, playing saxophone and drums. And he’s still got it. He stunned family and friends a few years ago by playing saxophone at a Fire Chiefs Conference in Columbus.
