“On July 5th, the Village of Farmersville will celebrate America’s 250th with stars, stripes and small town pride,” the Village announced.
Food trucks, a beer garden, artists booths a farmers market and more are on tap for the planned July 5 festival that will take up Center Street and several side streets in town.

The day will start with a community worship and conclude with a band and possible fireworks show.
At the May Village Council meeting, council member Crystal Lohn shared an update on the planning progress. This includes interest from more than 50 potential vendors and support from area churches and civic groups to host tents for kid crafts and games.
During the event, local businesses are also planning specials, with Jerry’s Meat Market to offer burgers, hot dogs, and pizza and the Village Inn to provide a beer truck at its patio.
Early sponsors include the Farmersville Area Business Association and Moore Sewer Services.
