The community will celebrate its farming heritage at the 5th annual Farm Day at Farmersville/Jackson Township Joint Park on September 12.
As in past years, the event will feature a tractor ride at 9 am with various planned stops for refreshments and a tractor parade at 12:30 that will go through Farmersville.
This year, planners have named longtime dairy and grain farmer D.R. Coffman and family as the 2026 Farmersville Farm Day Grand Marshal. Coffman is a 5th-generation farmer and lifelong resident of Jackson Township.

The event will include fun contests like a hay bale toss and stacking competition and a kiddie tractor pull. The event will also feature food trucks, vendors and live music.
