Farmersville Order of the Eastern Star recently presented a $1,000 scholarship to Claire Shuey, a 2026 graduate of Valley View High School.

The scholarship was presented by a Farmersville High School graduate and retired Valley View teacher, Rita (Denlinger) Bailey,

Claire plans to attend Ohio University to study Speech Pathology.

Each year, the Farmersville Order of the Eastern Star supports graduating seniors from both Dixie High School and Valley View High School through its scholarship program.
