Both Farmersville and Germantown are honoring hometown heroes with banners on the streets featuring local veterans and those presently serving. Both municipalities will be honoring service members from Memorial Day to Veterans Day with banners funded by community members and loved ones.

NOTE: Banners ordered now may NOT be ready in time for this season, but applications can be submitted now for the future.

Germantown

The Germantown Veterans Banner Committee manages the program in cooperation with the City. The City has already begun hanging its 2026 banners.

The cost of a banner is $150.00. Make checks payable to: Germantown Veteran Banners.

Applications, photos, and checks can be mailed to or dropped off at the Germantown Veterans Memorial Museum Foundation, 123 S. Main Street.

Farmersville

The Farmersville Area Business Association (FABA) manages the program for the Village.

The cost for each photo banner and hardware is $250 payable to FABA. The banners will be hung in cooperation with the Village of Farmersville throughout the Village’s main streets.
