The community celebrated Easter this weekend by coming together for family gatherings, religious services and egg hunts.
On Good Friday, churches in Farmersville held a prayer walk where the message of the crucifixion was shared in Bible verses and song.

The Prayer Walk started at Farmersville United Methodist Church and included stops at the Farmersville Christian Church and St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. The group made six stops around town and offered prayers for the community along the way.

On Saturday, several churches held egg hunts and events for families to celebrate the holiday.
