Ingredients

Bars:
1 pouch Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg

Filling:
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350

  • Grease an 8-inch baking pan

  • In a large bowl, stir bar ingredients until dough forms. Press ¾ of the dough evenly in the bottom of the baking pan. Reserve remaining dough.

  • Spread ¼ cup melted butter over the dough in the pan

  • In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Remove 2 Tablespooks of the mixture and set aside.

  • Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon mixture over the melted butter

  • Crumble the reserved dough. Flatten the crumbles with fingers and arrange over the cinnamon mixture.

  • Sprinkle reserved cinnamon mixture over the top.

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and set. Remove from the oven to a cooling rack.
